In The Real Housewives of Orange County episode “The Day After,” the ladies are still in Jamaica and still talking about Shannon Beador and what a bad friend she’s been recently, a claim provoked by new wife Gina Kirschenheiter. Shannon had to take “a time out” away from the ladies. Shannon believes all of the women are criticizing her and judging her for being emotional “when I’m doing my best to keep it together.”
Vicki Gunvalson tries to coax Shannon out of her villa to go to a beachside dinner with all the women. Before knocking on Shannon’s door, Vicki says, “I think Shannon is in a pity party and she’s the only one in it with her.” Hey, Vicki doesn’t win any grammar awards, but she is trying to be a good friend to Shannon! Even when Shannon starts complaining again about everyone picking on her, Vicki perseveres, “We’re going to muscle up, go to dinner and we’re going to be with our girlfriends.
