In the Season 4 premiere of Blindspot, “Hella Duplicitous,” Jane Doe/Remi (Jaimie Alexander) and Rich DotCom (Ennis Esmer) find themselves on a rooftop in Tokyo, Japan. Rich DotCom watches as Jane takes down the first set of Aiko’s men in a sword fight — before she fights Aiko one-on-one. It’s a very dramatic scene with the famous Tokyo Tower lit behind them, and Aiko’s wearing an awesome red suit which is the icing on the cake.
Aiko is portrayed by Rila Fukushima. Americans will recognize the 29-year-old Japanese-born actress from her roles on Arrow (Tatsu Yamashiro aka Katana), Game of Thrones (Street Red Priestess Volantis), and in the 2013 film The Wolverine (Yukio) with Hugh Jackman. Blindspot airs Fridays at 8pm on NBC, right before Dateline.
