In the Season 7 premiere of Black Ink Crew, “Ain’t No Block Party Like a Harlem Block Party,” Ceaser throws a block party on 113th Street in Harlem. It’s a Mardi Gras themed party to celebrate the opening of his new tattoo shop in New Orleans. That’ll be his fourth. (He opened the third Black Ink Crew shop in Atlanta last year.) But there’s a lot of drama happening at 113th Street before Ceaser leaves for NOLA. Bae goes into premature labor, Sky’s son drops shocking news, and rapper Desiigner stops by for a tattoo.

Desiigner, who was born Sidney Royel Selby III, is known for his 2015 debut single “Panda“, which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Kanye West sampled Panda for his album The Life of Pablo, and signed Desiigner to his GOOD Music imprint (via Def Jam). The 21-year-old from Brooklyn (Louis Armstrong housing projects in Bed-Stuy) has music in his blood. He’s the grandson of blues singer and guitarist Sidney “Guitar Crusher” Selby. Desiigner dropped his second EP, L.O.D. (Life of Desiigner), in May 2018. See link above. Black Ink Crew airs Wednesdays at 9pm on VH1.
