Briana Latrise is the star of the Growing Up Hip Hop episode “Blurred Lines.” Briana lets her suspicions and concerns be heard. In front of everyone, Briana confronts Egypt’s boyfriend Sam about a rumor she heard. When Sam denies it, celeb hair stylist Troy gets caught in a lie. Later, Briana focuses on her friend Boogie who’s been struggling with alcohol. She approaches Boogie’s father, Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash, about organizing an intervention. When Briana talks to Damon, his longtime girlfriend Raquel Horn is present too.
Damon Dash and Raquel Horn are now in the movie business together. She’s listed as a producer of the action adventure film Honor Up (see link above) which Dash wrote, directed, and starred in with his cousin, actress Stacey Dash. (Kanye West is listed as the executive producer.) Horn is also listed as a producer on Dash’s next dramatic film, A Shot for Justice. When not on a set, Horn is probably in the kitchen coming up with new vegan recipes for Dash who has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (see post below). Oh, and she’s also creative director at Poppington, her and Dash’s clothing line. Busy creative force, that Raquel Horn. Growing Up Hip Hop airs Thursdays at 9pm on VH1.
