In the Instinct episode “Bye Bye Birdie,” Dylan (Alan Cumming) and Lizzie (Bojana Novakovic) meet author Celia Baxter who was almost killed in her home. There are several suspects — many people hold a grudge against Celia for her success in the publishing world. Celia couldn’t see the face of her attacker who wore a giant white rabbit mask.
Author Celia Baxter is portrayed by Sutton Foster. She’s known for her roles on Younger (Liza Miller), Bunheads (Michelle Simms, see link above), Flight of the Conchords (Coco), and in the 2013 film Shrek the Musical (Fiona), among others. Fun fact: Foster was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2012 for “Anything Goes: New Broadway Cast Recording.” Instinct airs Sundays at 8pm on CBS.
