The Canadian-born choreographer Laurieann Gibson has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Lady Gaga. She made her reality TV debut in the MTV show Making the Band with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2005. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater-trained dancer and former “Fly Girl” on In Living Color (where Jennifer Lopez also danced) is now launching Boomkack merchandise. Boomkack is the sound she makes while dancing, as in “step on the boom, accent on the kack.” Boomkack merchandise includes t-shirts ($25), hoodies ($40), jogger pants ($40-$43), and baseball hats ($25). Gibson says, “I want all doctors, lawyers, dancers, singers, all y’all, to wear Boomkack with pride.” The Four: The Battle for Stardom airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
