On the Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta episode “I Feel Like I’m in Dress Heaven,” a former reality star’s fiancé comes to Bridal by Lori. Her name is Sherien and she’s not in a hurry. Sherien Almufti’s fiancé is in federal prison for a couple more years. Her fiancé is former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida, ex-husband of Phaedra Parks. Nida is serving an eight year sentence after being convicted of several counts of fraud. He is currently serving his time at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He has two more years to go — his release is scheduled for August 2020.
While Apollo was in prison, Sherien did appear on an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She showed up at the preview party of Kandi and Todd’s new restaurant, Old Lady Gang. Although Todd Tucker described the appearance of Sherien as “trouble,” he went ahead and introduced her as “Mrs. Nida.” And no, Phaedra was not at the party at that time. Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta airs Saturdays at 8pm on TLC.
