ABC’s investigative journalism and news magazine TV show 20/20 is celebrating its 40th season this summer. On the June 15 episode, cameras will follow 20/20 digital producer Alexa Valiente to Brooklyn, New York where she visits the ice cream shop Ample Hills Creamery to celebrate. She interviews the founders, Jackie and Brian, who have created a special flavor for the show called The Scoop.

]Ample Hills Creamery open its doors in 2011. They’re known for creating “over the top, playful, whimsical” flavors including The Raw Deal (vanilla ice cream with chocolate flakes and house-made brown butter cookie dough). The Scoop — a play on the 20/20 habit of scooping news stories and the traditional scooping of ice cream — is a marshmallow ice cream with chunks of blue velvet cake. A 4-pack of Ample Hills’ ice cream sells for $55 and ships free nationwide. (That’s about $13 per pint.) ABC News receives 10 percent of “The Scoop” sales and will donate all proceeds to FosterMore’s National Scholarship Fund for Foster Youth. 20/20 airs Fridays at 10pm on ABC.
