In the Superior Donuts episode “Pedal to the Meddle,” donut shop owner Arthur (Judd Hirsch) offers to teach Franco (Jermaine Fowler) how to drive. The problem occurs when they hit the road and Arthur is pulled over by a police officer. Arthur’s driver’s license has expired.
Officer Jackson is portrayed by Jerry Minor. Minor is known for his roles on Those Who Can’t (Steven Sweeney), Dr. Ken (Eric), The Goldbergs (Professor Dixon), Black-ish (Lance), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Chris Darden), The Hotwives of Orlando (Rodney), Community (Jerry the Janitor), and Arrested Development (Officer Carter), among others. Minor is also recognized from his 2000-2001 season on Saturday Night Live (Cuba Gooding Jr., Grand Master Rap). Superior Donuts airs Mondays at 9pm on CBS.
