In the Family Guy episode “Veteran Guy,” Peter and the guys pretend to be military veterans. They’re confronted by actor Eric Dane on a plane. When they are found guilty of the Stolen Valor Act, a judge sentences them to join the U.S. Coast Guard. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t go well.
Eric Dane is known for his roles on The Last Ship (Commanding Officer Tom Chandler), Grey’s Anatomy (Dr. Mark Sloan aka Dr. McSteamy), Charmed (Jason Dean), and in the X-Men films (Multiple Man), Burlesque (Marcus), and Marley & Me (Sebastian), among others. Family Guy airs Sundays at 9pm on FOX, right after Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
