In the Will & Grace episode “The Beefcake and the Cake Beef,” the beefcake refers to Will’s (Eric McCormack) first love Michael. Will takes the advice of Jack (Sean Hayes) and reunites with Michael. When they broke up 20 years ago, Micheal was a trainer and now he’s opening up his own gym. While Will seems happy (at first), Grace (Debra Messing) and Jack are reminded how annoying Michael can be.
Michael is portrayed by Cheyenne Jackson. The 6’3″ tall actor is known for his roles on American Horror Story (Will Drake/Dr. Rudy Vincent/Sidney James), 30 Rock (Liz’s Canadian singer/street performer boyfriend Danny Baker), and Glee (Dustin Goolsby), among others. Jackson will next star in Paramount Network’s American Woman (see photo below). Will & Grace airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC, right after A.P. Bio and right before Champions.
