The final season of the spy-licious FX series The Americans launched with a three year time jump and the Jennings family still in disagreement about the American experiment they’re caught up in. One major difference of opinion is that Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) are on opposite sides when it comes to their daughter Paige (Holly Taylor) following in their covert footsteps. Look out for Soviet Diplomat Fyodor Nesterenko, who steps in as the Russians and Americans enter into arms negotiations. Nesterenko creates a rift that may further stack the Jennings’ on opposing sides.
Soviet Diplomat Fyodor Nesterenko is portrayed by Alex Feldman. His television credits also include roles on Shooter, Code Black, Cold Case, In Plain Sight, CSI: Miami, Law & Order, and Without A Trace. He caught attention for his role in the Lifetime bio-pic Bling Ring, about the fame-obsessed teens who robbed the homes of celebrities. He also appeared in the films Chernobyl Diaries, Repo Chick, Kush, and The Collector among others. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, raised in New York and now based in Los Angeles, Feldman founded the creative community For Actors By Actors, and is a faculty member of the acting conservatory, Theatre of Arts. The Americans airs on FX on Wednesdays at 10pm.
