In the Modern Family episode “Royal Visit,” while Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) go on a yoga retreat, Haley (Sarah Hyland) brings her astrophysicist boyfriend Arvin (Chris Geere) home to meet the family. The encounter makes her sister Alex (Ariel Winter) feel self-conscious about dating her hot — but not so smart — firefighter boyfriend Bill.
Hot fireman boyfriend Bill is portrayed by Jimmy Tatro. The 26-year-old is known for his starring role on Netflix’s American Vandal as Dylan Maxwell, and in the film 22 Jump Street as Rooster. After launching his YouTube comedy channel The Jimmy Tatro Channel, he made his acting debut in the 2013 film Grown Ups 2 as a frat boy. Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
