On the Sister Wives episode “Confronting Meri,” Meri’s feelings are hurt when she finds out all the wives were at Maddie’s side during her long and painful delivery. (She had a baby boy, Axel, Kody Brown’s first grandchild.) According to TLC, “intense therapy sessions fail to resolve the hurt.” All of the wives (#1 Meri, #2 Janelle, #3 Christine and #4 Robyn) are at the therapy session. Meri starts off the session aggressively saying “I’m just kind of over this.” Meri’s attitude gets Janelle worked up, and provokes Robyn to get choked up “I’m just sick of this,” she says. But it’s Christine who confronts Meri “with some brutal truths.”
Is it just us or has Christine become the hero on Sister Wives? She’s the one who got the guardianship papers ready when they went to the protest in Utah. She’s the one who found a non-surgical alternative for Ysabel’s scoliosis. And let’s face it, Christine has close bonds with all the wives’ children. She seemed more excited about Maddie’s delivery than her mom Janelle! Sister Wives airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC, right before Three Wives, One Husband starring polygamist Abel Morrison and his three wives.
