16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom star Gary Shirley is the ex-fiance of Amber Portwood. He is the father of Amber’s 9-year-old daughter Leah, who is about to become a big sister. (Amber is pregnant with her new and third fiance Andrew Glennon.) In 2015, Gary married Kristina Anderson, mother of Gary’s second daughter Emilee. All three live together in Pendleton, Indiana. Kristina has another daughter Karly (who is 10) from a previous marriage.
Gary told InTouch magazine that he would like to have more children with Kristina but revealed that his wife had her tubes tied. He said: “Maybe one day we will go back and untie them. Maybe fostering, that was something we were interested in. And you can adopt through fostering.” Hmmm. Just last week, Kristina wrote about fostering and adopting. She wrote on social media: “volunteering at school makes me want to adopt or foster a hand full of kiddos!” Teen Mom is airing the special “Being Gary” on Tuesday, February 20 at 8pm on MTV.
