NBC continues to broadcast the 2018 Winter Olympics from Pyeongchang, South Korea. On Sunday, February 18, the cameras will be on the two-man bobsled runs, the men’s cross-country skiing 4x10km relay, and the women’s freestyle halfpipe skiing. One to watch is American skier Maddie Bowman. She won a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics at Sochi, Russia, and she’s itching to win her second.
When not on the slopes, the 24-year-old skier from Salt Lake City, Utah is studying biology at Westminster College. She says her best subject has always been math. As an Olympic athlete and a college student, Bowman has a busy schedule, so it’s no wonder that she tends to sleep in. Bowman has said that in the morning, if given the option of pressing the snooze button or getting right out of bed, she hits snooze. “I am a snoozer. I have really tried to cut down on my snoozes, I’m about up to four snoozes as of now. It’s a problem.” Or is it? She’s going for her second gold medal at the Olympics – something is working right! Maybe it’s all the milk she drinks. Check out the milk ad below. The 2018 Winter Olympics will broadcast live from Pyeongchang, South Korea on Monday, February 19 at 8pm on NBC.
