On the Vanderpump Rules episode “Screams and Queens,” Ariana Madix plans her extravagant birthday party with friends Lala Kent and Billie Lee. She’s determined to outdo her birthday rival Stassi Schroeder (and she succeeds!) Billie, the new hostess at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant, hasn’t exactly hit if off with Stassi yet. When Stassi invited Billie to be interviewed on her podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, Billie agreed but warned Stassi that she’s heard some things about Stassi (from Lala and Ariana). Ariana told Billie that Stassi once referred to transgenders as “those people” on her podcast. Billie Lee is a transgender woman and activist.
Billie Lee wants to educate and inspired people and Vanderpump Rules is just one platform. She announced on her website that she’s filming her own talk show, Mornings Vibes with Billie, which will premiere Spring 2018. A big fan of Oprah Winfrey, Billie says it’s been her dream since she was five to have her own talk show. Like Oprah, she likes to share inspirational quotes like this one: “Every day is an opportunity to take back your dream, to embrace your journey and live the life you’ve always wanted. You are never too old, and it’s never too late to start over.” Vanderpump Rules airs Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
