On the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Ties That Bind,” a petty officer’s murder leads the team to a night club where Pride’s (Scott Bakula) mother used to perform weekly. Meanwhile, Lasalle (Lucas Black) gets called home to Alabama. At the family estate, he meets with his sister Rose LaSalle.

Rose LaSalle on the NCIS: New Orleans episode “Ties That Bind” is portrayed by Rebecca Luker. An Alabama native and singer, Luker made her Broadway debut in The Phantom of the Opera in 1988 (as Christine). Luker went on to play Lily in The Secret Garden (1991-1993), Show Boat (1994-1997) for which she was nominated for a Tony Award, among many others. (She’s been nominated for three Tony Awards — The Music Man, Mary Poppins being the other shows in which Luker garnered Tony nominations.) You can hear her gorgeous soprano voice on Placido Domingo’s album The Broadway I Love. Fun fact about Luker: She’s married to six-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein (The Drowsy Chaperone, South Pacific, Follies, Fiddler on the Roof). NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS, right after Bull.
