In The Good Doctor episode “Islands Part Two,” the twins suffer complications from their kidney transplant surgery. Dr. Ko is at San Jose Boneventure Hospital to help the staff make a life-changing decision. Meanwhile, autistic doctor Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) gives his two-weeks notice to Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) who doesn’t want Shaun to leave.
Dr. Ko is portrayed by Necar Zadegan. She’s known for her roles on Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (Delia), Extant (Velez), Masters of Sex (Queen of Iran), Rake (Scarlet Leon), Emily Owens, M.D. (Dr. Gina Bandari), and 24 (Dalia Hassan, see link above), among others.
