On the Hawaii Five-0 episode ‘Na keiki a Kalaihaohia (The Children of Kalaihaohia),’ while Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) recruits a new CI (confidential informant), Five-0 chases down a diamond smuggler named Voss. They suspect Voss had something to do with stealing a corpse from a graveyard. McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) tells a cop on the case, “This is the most important case you’ll work on. No pressure.”
Diamond Smuggler Voss is portrayed by Phillip Phillips. The singer/songwriter won Season 11 of American Idol in 2012. Phillips is releasing his third album ‘Collateral‘ the same day the Hawaii Five-0 episode airs. The 27-year-old from Georgia is best known for his song “Home” which became the all time best selling song from American Idol.
