TROBO is a line of interactive plush toy robots that tell STEM-related stories to kids. The founders of TROBO, Jeremy Scheinberg and Chris Harden, pitched their business on Shark Tank in April 2016. They went into the Tank seeking $100,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. On the show, they agreed to a $166,000 investment from Robert Herjavec for 33 percent with a contingency – that they could get a licensing deal with Dreamworks.

The deal with Herjavec didn’t go through, and while the TROBO website is still up, visitors are not able to purchase a TROBO. “We are sold out of TROBOs due to Shark Tank and the holiday season.” There were a handful of TROBOS for sale on Amazon (listed from $200 to $400) but they are no longer available. New episodes of Shark Tank (Season 9) air Sundays at ppm on ABC. [related: 27 Favorite Shark Tank Products]
