The Kooler is a one-gallon beverage cooler designed to keep pre-workout, during-workout and post-workout drinks separate but cooled in one container. (It comes with two shakers for protein drinks.) The inventor of The Kooler, professional bodybuilder Stan Efferding, pitched his business on Shark Tank in February 2017. It was a memorable presentation as Efferding flipped over a 800 lbs. tire, among other things (see video below). He went into the Tank seeking a $50,000 investment in exchange for 15 percent equity. He made a deal with Daymond John — $50k for 33.3 percent equity.

After Shark Tank, Efferding and John went on HSN and sold out of The Kooler 2.0, (see photo below). In July, Efferding reported that Bed Bath & Beyond is testing 100 stores in Canada and the Northwest, and that “Walgreens is also on the radar for 7,000 locations next spring!!” Shark Tank airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
