The Lifetime movie Fatherly Obsession is a grade-A thriller. A young woman named Alyssa moves into a luxury apartment and befriends the landlord Robert (Ted McGinley). When they first met, Robert told her she reminded him of his daughter Jane who’s at college. He also promised Alyssa that he would protect her as if she was his own daughter. Their relationship starts out sweetly but ends violently.
[McCook made her acting debut on Monk]
Alyssa is portrayed by Molly McCook. McCook is known for her roles on The Ranch (Darlene), Guidance (Polly), Never Fade Away (Madison Evans), and The Bold and the Beautiful (Margot), among others. Fun facts: McCook made her TV debut on a 2006 episode of Monk. It’s the one where Monk coaches a girl’s basketball team while solving a crime. McCook is Emily J. (see link above). She is also the daughter of Bold and Beautiful actor John McCook (Eric Forrester). She can sing too! Check out the video below. That’s her father on the piano. Fatherly Obsession airs on Lifetime on Saturday, December 30 at 10pm.
