In the Hallmark Channel movie Christmas Connection, flight attendant Sydney (Brooke Burns) misses her holiday vacation to make sure an unaccompanied minor Leah (Sophie Neudorf) gets home. When she brings Leah to her home in Chicago, she meets the girl’s father Jonathan. He’s handsome, witty, and a widower. When Sydney misses her flight back home, she spends the holidays with Leah and Jonathan (Tom Everett Scott).
Sydney is portrayed by Brooke Burns. Brooke Burns is known for her roles in The Gourmet Detective TV movies (Maggie), Melrose Place (Vanessa Mancini), Miss Guided (Lisa Germain), Pepper Dennis (Kathy Dinkle), North Shore (Nicole Booth), Baywatch (Jessie Owens), and Ally McBeal (Jennifer Higgin aka The Girl), among others. Burns is also recognized for her role as Katrina in the film Shallow Hal (see video below, link above). Christmas Connection premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 17 at 8pm.
