Logan Riley is the entrepreneur behind Rokblok by Pink Donut. It’s the world’s smallest, portable, wireless record player. The 4×2 inches long blok lays on top of an album (see video below). Vinyl record players have been making a comeback but Rokblok is in a field of its own. All you have to do is lift the lever to have the block spin and play. Then wave your hand above the spinning blok to make it stop. Riley dons a cool leather jacket while pitching his business on Shark Tank on December 3. The Sharks will be impressed with his ability to raise $351,816 on Kickstarter to bring Rokblok to life.
Rokblok by Pink Donut, which plays 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM records is accepting $89 pre-orders on the website. It can connect to Bluetooth speakers, comes with a rechargeable lithium battery, and weighs just 3.2 oz. And it looks cool. It’s made out of bamboo. Riley has the good fortune of pitching in front of Kevin O’Leary who considers himself a music aficionado and who invested in Classroom Jams. Shark Tank airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
