In the Criminal Minds episode “Dust and Bones,” the BAU is on the hunt for a female unsub in Austin, Texas. She’s targeting prominent members of the community with a deadly game that involves snakes. Agent Rossi (Joe Mantegna) provides some comic relief by telling the team, “As my grandmother used to say, ‘I don’t a like a the snakes.'”
Desi Gutierrez is portrayed by Doris Morgado. The model-turned-actress daughter of Cuban descent is known for her roles on Chicago Med (Zulmira Cespedes), and in the action/adventures films Logan with Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart (Maria) and 2 Guns with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg (Daisie, see photo below), among others. Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CBS.
