Christian Schauf and Mike Escamilla of Park City, Utah are the entrepreneurs behind The SEVENTY2, the ultimate survival kit. (72 refers to the critical first 72 hours of an emergency.) They will pitch their business on the Season 9 premiere of Shark Tank, featuring guest Shark Rohan Oza, the branding expert behind Vitaminwater, Smartwater and Bai, which recently sold to Dr. Pepper for $1.7 Billion.
The SEVENTY2 already has an impressive record — they raised close to $500,000 when they launched an Indiegogo campaign in 2016. The kit includes more than 30 tools which come with easy-to-understand instructions “to get you through those critical hours.” The bag itself can convert into a flotation device! The SEVENTY2 sells online for $349.99. Shark Tank airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC, right after The Toy Box.
