Sun-Staches, a line of fun accessories on sunglasses, was pitched on Shark Tank in 2014. The entrepreneurs went into the Tank seeking $300,000 in exchange for 5 percent in equity. They left with a deal with FUBU creator Daymond John — $300k for 20 percent. While speaking at the iCONIC conference in June, John listed Sun-Staches as one of his five most profitable deals made on Shark Tank. Landing a licensing deal with Marvel to make sunglasses with their superheroes on them surely helped.

The other gems in John’s Tankfolio are Bubba’s Q boneless baby back ribs; the hole-less Mission Belt; virtual pinball machine company VPcabs, and the bow-tie company Mo’s Bows. Episodes of Shark Tank Season 9 air Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
