On the October 15 episode of The Toy Box, inventor Jaaz Tigan will present his Hugalopes to the kid judges. Hugalopes is a line of wearable plush toys/hats that let kids create their own designs. There are buttons on all the parts (eyes, legs, nose) that plug into what Jaaz calls the “gum-dropped” body. It’s like a modern, fuzzy version of Mr. Potato Head. When you take the inside of the body out, it turns into a hat.

The Toy Box judge Noah Ritter has fun with one Hugalope (see photo above.) “Me and monsters are kinda like the same thing. We’re like two peas in a pod,” says Noah. Hugalopes, which are available in a number of colors (pink, orange, green, yellow), are sold on Amazon (see link above). Prices vary but the average is $15 with shipping. The Toy Box airs Sundays at 7pm on ABC.
