Camp counselor Collin Menninger of Reno, Nevada is the young inventor behind Botallions. He will demonstrate the fast-paced tabletop strategy game on The Toy Box on October 15. The object of the game is to defeat your opponents on the battlefield. The opponents’ pieces look like headless Rock ‘Em Sock’em Robots boxers. The stand-alone bots can rotate at the shoulders and the hips.
On the Botallions Kickstarter campaign, anyone who pledges $30 or more gets a Botallions game which includes 16 plastic miniatures (eight per team), two team-colored dice, and two specialized rulers. But Menninger can’t fulfill order unless he meets his $1,000 goal before November 15. Gonna help make it happen? The Toy Box airs Sundays at 7pm on ABC.
