ReThink is an app that encourages people to stop and think before sending cyberbullying messages. It was designed with teenagers in mind as the creator of ReThink is one herself. 16-year-old Trisha Prabhu pitched the app on Shark Tank in 2016. She went into the Tank seeking a $100,000 investment in exchange for 20 percent equity, and got exactly what she wanted from tech billionaire Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner.

Since Shark Tank, Prabhu continues to inspire people, promote ReThink and win awards and recognition including being named one of five 2017 Tech Impact All Stars by NationSwell. In September, Liberty Museum introduced ReThink in its elementary and middle school program Young Heroes curriculum for Pennsylvania schools. ReThink is available for free in Apple’s App Store and Google Play. It’s designed to work across all apps on the phone and only pop up when its algorithms detect a “nasty text or post is being typed.”
