Out of the 13 celebrities competing on Dancing with the Stars, Season 25, former boy-band member Nick Lachey (98 Degrees) has the proverbial “leg up” on the other competitors who have never professionally danced. Former boy band members have done well on DWTS including Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys (second place, Season 21).
Just hours before the premiere episode, Nick Lachey and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd, went on camera to answer questions from the fans. The duo was asked if they have “go to dance moves.” Nick demonstrates his boy band hustle march while Peta squats and swivels her hips. Nick says, “The hips don’t lie.” Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
