In the Season 1 finale of the TV talent competition show Boy Band, the top five singers will be revealed and be awarded with a recording contract. To celebrate, the new Boy Band will perform their new single “Eyes Closed.” But before that goes down, the group Bell Biv DeVoe will perform. Bell Biv DeVoe is the spin-off band of the 1980s hit boy band from Boston, New Edition. There were five boys in New Edition, including Bobby Brown as the lead. Bell Biv DeVoe, which was formed in 1989, consists of three former New Edition boy band members who are now 49 years old! — Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe.

Bell Biv DeVoe released four albums over the past 28 years: the first and most famous is Poison (1990) which includes the #1 song “Poison” (see/hear remix below) and hits like “B.B.D. (I Thought It Was Me)”, among others. The most recent is Three Stripes which was released in January 2017. Boy Band airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
