LocTote Industrial Bag Co. makes The Flak Sack, a slash-proof drawstring bag that comes with its own combination lock. The $129 durable bag is soft and water resistant which makes it ideal for traveling. Entrepreneurs Adam McBride and Don Halpern pitched their business on Shark Tank in April and accepted a deal with Robert Herjavec — $150,000 for 10 percent with $10 royalty per bag until he recoups $150,000.

Since Shark Tank, LocTote has introduced the Flak Sack SPORT in response to customers who said they were “willing to give up some slash protection for a lighter and lower cost bag.” Halpern explains, “We had no interest in developing a product that didn’t work just for the sake of making it lighter and cheaper. So with that, we headed back to the lab.” Not only is Flak Sack SPORT lighter but it is available for $89 (see link above). LocTote’s Flak Sack was also recently inducted into Honeywell’s Technology Museum in Washington, D.C. (Honeywell is the company LoTote works with to make the Flak Sack textile). New episodes of Shark Tank will return in the Fall with guest shark investors Richard Branson, Bethenny Frankel and Alex Rodriguez, among other celebrities.
