BootyQueen Apparel is a line of fitness/workout clothes designed specifically for women who “love to build their booties.” The company was founded by Amanda and Steve Kuclo, recently married bodybuilders from Dallas. They literally flexed their entrepreneurial muscles while pitching BootyQueen Apparel on Shark Tank in April. The clothing doesn’t have any proprietary design but the Kuclos are influencers in the fitness world which attracted investor Daymond John. The Kuclos accepted an investment of $250,000 from John in exchange for 33.3 percent equity in BootyQueen Apparel.

Since Shark Tank, Amanda has appeared on an episode of Little Women: Dallas on Lifetime, launched a new blog, and BootyQueen released a new limited edition line of leggings called Ideal. (They’re made with a “super soft” material that is “new to the market.”) New episodes of Shark Tank will air in Fall 2017. Season 9 guest Sharks to include Virgin CEO Richard Branson, Real Housewives of New York star and CEO of Skinny Girl Bethenny Frankel, and former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, among others.
