On the August 15 episode of Bachelor in Paradise, former single contestants Evan Bass and Carly Waddell get married. Several of their friends from The Bachelor franchise including Ashley I. show up to share in their joy — or maybe some attend just to see if they’ll go through with it. For their big day on TV, The Bachelor host Chris Harrison officiates the event in Mexico (wearing a blue suit without a tie). The groom wears a gray suit without a tie, and the bride wears a stunning nude, sweetheart strapless mermaid gown with white embroidery.
Carly’s unique wedding dress is a creation of Israeli designer Idan Cohen. The dress is known as the “Mercedes” dress which first appeared in public at Idan Cohen’s 2017 bridal fashion show. Since the wedding, the married couple has announced that they’re expecting their first child together. And Carly promises that “the fun will continue February 2018.” Meanwhile, Evan has also been posting photos of him with Carly’s family. On the Fourth of July, while in Bedford, Texas, Evan gives thanks to Carly’s dad for “putting him to work” at a cotton candy machine (see below). Bachelor in Paradise airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
