For ten years, actor Anson Williams was a star on ABC TV. He played Richie Cunningham’s (Ron Howard) pal Warren “Potsie” Weber on Happy Days from 1974 to 1984. Williams is joined other former ABC Stars including Shari Belafonte (Hotel) on Battle of the Network Stars. They’re competing against prime-time soap stars including Donna Mills (Knots Landing).

Since Happy Days, Williams, now 67, hasn’t acted in much — but he has become a well-regarded director of TV shows including Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, 90210 , Baywatch, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Lizzie McGuire, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Fun fact: Williams is the nephew of Dr. Henry Heimlich of the Heimlich Maneuver. Battle of the Network Stars airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
