At the Kansas City, Missouri qualifying round (airing July 3), American Ninja Warrior fans will see a number of new and familiar faces competing on the obstacle course which includes the Hang Glider, Broken Pipes and Crank It Up. One of the familiar faces is Lance Pekus aka Cowboy Ninja. The rancher from Idaho (and father of two) took a hit to the chest last year but as Lance says, ‘”the biggest hit was to my pride.”
The day before the Kansas City qualifying round airs, Lance posted a video (below) of that dreaded moment and wrote, “These images have been haunting me for a full year and tomorrow night we see if I have learned from my past mistakes and rise back to my potential.” American Ninja Warrior airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
