Dawn Janowitz of Chuluota, Florida is the inventor of Chomp!, a line of colorful plates designed for kids. But that’s not all! The plates, which come in four cute and adorable characters (cat, dog, alligator, and shark) fold into a food storage container with a handle. Janowitz, a mother of two children, says the idea is to store “those half eaten meals without wasting food or hassling with bulky containers.” She sells Chomp! for $14.99 each on her website. On July 9, Janowitz is pitching Chomp! on Steve Harvey’s Funderdome. She’s up against Eric Zimmerman and Dan Ferrera of Levittown, New York who are pitching Trongs, a utensil for eating finger food. Steve Harvey’s Funderdome airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC, right after Celebrity Family Feud.
