Bryan Pimlott of Scottsdale, Arizona is competing on American Ninja Warrior, Season 9. He’s the guy at the Los Angeles Qualifiers wearing an American flag leg brace. In February, while training for American Ninja Warrior, Bryan slid down a Warped-wall and tore his Achilles tendon. His left calf also “snapped apart.” One week prior to filming, Bryan made a video to capture what his leg looks like under the cast. “I don’t have a calf,” he says.
Bryan says when he sent the video below (of the exact moment when he hurt himself) to the associate producer of American Ninja Warrior, he said, “You’re a beast” and still had Bryan compete at the Qualifiers. Bryan joked that he’s “a one-legged ninja!” American Ninja Warrior airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
