Stephen Amell is best known for his role as Green Arrow aka Oliver Queen on The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and for doing a lot of his own superhero stunts. So it’s not a huge surprise to learn that Amell is one of the nine celebrities who volunteered to tackle the American Ninja Warrior obstacle course for the televised charity event, Red Nose Day.
Amell trained with real-life American Ninja Warrior Kacy Catanazaro, who is by his side throughout the course (see video below). Amell does well but at one point (before running across water) he admits with excitement and determination, “This is absolutely terrifying.” American Ninja Warrior Red Nose Day airs May 25 at 8pm on NBC.
