James D’Amato and Kat Kuhl of Chicago, Illinois are the inventors of Noisy Person Cards, a party game “designed to help people develop new character voices for role-playing games.” Similar to Cards Against Humanity and Apples to Apples, The Noisy Person Cards game asks players to give voices to Character Cards (e.g., hectic, adorable, cackling) by reading Phrase Cards (e.g. “I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hagburger today.” The Noisy Person Cards come with 100 Character Cards and 500 Phrase Cards. James and Kat are pitching their game on The Toy Box (May 19).
Prior to The Toy Box, James and Kat successfully raised more than $45,000 (in one month!) to produce The Noisy Person Cards via a Kickstarter campaign. You can download a free print and play edition on their website. The Toy Box airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC.
