Lori Allen of Overland Park, Kansas is the inventor behind BedTime StoryBug, a plush ladybug that can record and play back three, 3-minute stories (and they’re re-recordable). A child simply presses the satin feet of the ladybug to listen to the stories. It’s a sweet idea especially for traveling parents and grandparents who live far away. Lori will pitch the BedTime StoryBug on The Toy Box (May 19).
Lori is selling the BedTime StoryBug on her website for $29.99. They are also available, for the same price, on Amazon (see above). The Toy Box airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC.
