When 17-year-old Josh West auditioned on The Voice, Season 12, he sang the 1993 Duran Duran song “Ordinary World” and got all four judges – Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys and Blake Shleton – to turn around. He went with fellow rocker Adam Levine. For the Battle Round, with Nala Price, Josh performed the 1985 Tears For Fears song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and won. Now, for the Knockout Round, Josh is going even further back in music history. In The Voice ring with Johnny Hayes, Josh rocks out to the 1976 Kansas song “Carry On Wayward Son.” VH1 lists the song on its 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs (96th).
