In the Chicago Justice episode ‘Judge Not,’ the team investigates the assassination of a prominent judge (Douglas Sills) who was shot down after having a drink with Valdez (Monica Barbaro). While Valdez tries to sit on the sidelines on the case, the rest of the team — with the help of a priest — connects the dots between the judge’s death and the trial of a college rapist.
[Left: In Moneyball, Jack McGee played Oakland scout John Poloni]
The priest is played by Jack McGee. He’s known for his roles on Rescue Me (Chief Jerry Reilly) and NYPD Blue (Desk Sgt. Mahoney), and in the films Moneyball (John Poloni), The Fighter (George Ward), and Crash (gun store owner), among others. Fun fact: Bronx native McGee is a former FDNY firefighter who moved to Hollywood in 1986. Chicago Justice airs Sundays at 9pm on NBC.
