In the Lifetime TV movie Fatal Defense, after someone breaks into her house single mom Arden Walsh (Ashley Scott) says she’s tired of feeling defenseless so she signs-up for a self-defense class. Her instructor is a harsh but handsome guy named Logan Chase (David Cade) who ends up putting Arden’s new defense skills to test. Based on the promotional poster (see above), Arden gets some backup from a female cop.

The cop is portrayed by Sherilyn Fenn. She’s known for her roles on Shameless (Queenie), Ray Donovan (Donna Cochran), Gilmore Girls (Anna Nardinni), Boston Public (Violet Montgomery), Rude Awakening (Billie Frank), and Twin Peaks (Audrey Horne), among others. Fenn is also well recognized for her roles in the films Wild at Heart (Girl in accident), Of Mice and Men (Curley’s wife), and Boxing Helena (Helena). Fatal Defense premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, April 1, at 8pm.
