Ryan Joseph “Archie” Miller is one of the youngest head coaches appearing at the 2017 NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The 38-year-old has been the head coach of the University of Dayton’s men’s basketball team since 2011. He’s taken the Dayton Flyers to the NCAA Tournament for the past four consecutive years. That’s impressive, but so are Miller’s stats as a former player.
As a point guard on North Carolina State’s men’s basketball team (1998 to 2002), Miller finished his career with an 84.6 free-throw percentage, a 42.9 three-point field goal percentage, and 218 three-pointers. The University of Dayton faces the Wichita State Shockers led by head coach Gregg Marshall in a first-round game in Indianapolis on Thursday, March 16 at 7pm on CBS.
