The Cleveland Cavaliers still lead the Eastern Conference despite a checkered second half of the season. On a two-game losing streak and 5-5 in their last ten, the Cavs take on the 9th place Chicago Bulls tonight with head coach Tyronn Lue weighing resting his weary stars.
The Bulls, whose season has been a disappointment after bringing in Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo to work with All-Star Jimmy Butler, is battling for the 8th and final playoff spot. Entering the Cavaliers game, the Bulls are 1.5 games back of both the Heat and the Pacers for the spot. If the Cavs hold onto the top spot, where they’re currently tied with Boston, the Cavs would face the Bulls in the playoffs. The Bulls can try to set up a playoff rematch with the Cavs with a win tonight, especially with the Pacers struggling. Cavs visit Chicago March 30, 8pm ET on TNT.
