In the NCIS: Los Angeles episode ‘Payback’, while Kensi (Daniela Ruah) is held hostage in an unknown location and being tortured by the mole, her man Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and fellow agents Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Hanna (LL Cool J) scramble to save her. Meanwhile, one of the agents realizes he has been “betrayed by someone he least expected.” During the episode, former Judge Advocate General of the Navy, A.J. Chegwidden, makes an appearance.

A.J. Chegwidden is portrayed by John M. Jackson. He played the role of Rear Admiral Chegwidden on JAG for all 188 episodes! Jackson is also recognized for his roles on Bones (FBI Deputy Director Sam Cullen), and in the films A Few Good Men (Captain West), The Hitcher (Sergeant Starr) and The Glimmer Man (Donald Cunningham), among others.
