Three millennials from San Diego, California are behind Sand Cloud Towels, a line of big beach towels made of 100% super soft Turkish cotton. The designs of these Turkish towels are known for their chic bohemian styles — and because they are made of a thin cotton material, The Sand Cloud Towels are easier than regular towels to wrap up and travel with. Those are a number of selling points that will come up during Sand Cloud Towels’ pitch on Shark Tank (February 24).
The average Sand Cloud Turkish Towel sells for $47. Blankets are in the $70-$80 range. A portion of all Sand Cloud Towels sales goes to environmental organizations that work to protect and preserve the world’s oceans. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
